Hey there Kingfish fams!

It’s the last week of the season, packed with our last few meets, lots of fun spirit building activities, and our end of season banquet to celebrate everyone’s hard work!

We have a few major volunteer needs to pull all this off for our swimmers and there are LOTS of details, since we are hosting both Superstars and Divisonals. Please take a moment to read through this entire email.

• Sat. 7/22, 8am - Divisionals, at Kentlands

SUPERSTARS MEET DETAILS - WEDS. 7/19

• Theme: Crazy Blue & Green
• Meet Start Time: 5:30 pm
• Warmups: 4:30 pm

The sign-up deadline for this meet is today at 3pm. The line-up will be shared tomorrow via email.

As a reminder:

1. If A swimmer will be swimming in two or more events at Divisionals, she/he is NOT eligible to swim in Superstars.
2. If a swimmer is swimming in one event at Divisionals, she/he may only sign up for one event plus IM at Superstars.
3. If a swimmer is not swimming in Divisionals, she/he is limited to 2 Superstar events plus IM.

SUPERSTARS PANCAKE BREAKFAST - WEDS. 7/19, 9am-Noon

All swimmers can enjoy a pancake breakfast on the pool deck after their morning practice to power up for the Superstars meet in the evening!

LAST DAY OF REGULAR SEASON PRACTICE - THURS. 7/20 - FUN THURSDAY! 10-11am

Regular season for Team ends Thursday morning, 7/20, with a special relay fun practice -- Only Divisionals/All Stars swimmers will have practices after Thursday.

Items Needed:

• 6 watermelons
• 6 rafts
• 6 T-shirts (size men’s large)
• Please bring all of the coins that are piling up at your house and donate them at the merch tent at Superstars (or bring them to Thursday practice). They will do a coin dive at the end of this fun practice.

DIVISIONALS VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED

We still need a few urgent volunteer needs for concessions, grill team, cleanup, and to provide food for officials. Please sign-up here if you’re still looking to meet your 25 hours, or if you want to lend a hand!

DIVISIONALS SWIMMERS PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Divisionals swimmers will have practice:

• Thursday 5-6pm
• Friday 9-10am

HELP NEEDED: DECK PREP FOR DIVISIONALS/ WINE & CHEESE, FRI. 7/21, 6PM

ALL HANDS ON DECK! We need your help prepping the pool deck on Friday evening for Divisionals on Saturday morning, and we’re paying in wine & cheese. There will be 5 guest teams at our pool for the meet, so we’ll be setting up team areas, tents, and more.

If everyone comes to help, this should only take about 20 minutes, so please consider coming out to lend a hand. Join us after for wine & cheese on the clubhouse veranda as a thanks for your time!

KINGFISH SPIRIT PEP RALLY THIS FRIDAY! 5pm

Grab a Crepe from The Crepe Shoppe Cafe food truck and get pumped up with Kingfish spirit for Divisionals! We’ll be decorating the sidewalks around the Clubhouse with chalk to welcome families, swimmers, and guest teams for Divisionals, and decorating posters to encourage and support our swimmers. Cool off with a cone from Ben & Jerry’s after!

Kingfish families should have received an evite to celebrate the end of our 2023 season! Please RSVP by July 19th and click here to submit your $50 per family payment.

LOST & FOUND + EXTRA TEAM PHOTOS + PRETEAM TROPHIES

• Found - Platters/cupcake holders from Friday are on the O’Halloran front porch (206 Kent Oaks Way).
• Lost - large, green plastic bin (from the pre-season kick-off party). If you took it home by mistake, it can be left on the porch at 206 Kent Oaks Way.
• Extra Team Photos - Available on the porch at 206 Kent Oaks Way
• Pre-Team Trophies - If you didn’t make it to follies, Pre-team trophies will be at the bottom of the stairs after the banquet and will be in a box labeled Pre-Team
