We are thrilled to announce Erin Currier, our fantastic 2023 Asst. Head Coach, as our NEW HEAD COACH! We can’t wait for her to lead us through another exciting season!
We are seeking parents to serve on our Coaching Interview Committee to hire our next Assistant Head Coach! A Committee will be formed, comprised of 5-6 parents who have knowledge of swimming, coaching, the Kingfish or ideally all of the above. Committee members are asked to interview all applicants and share their feedback on candidates with our Head Coach Erin Currier and the Kingfish Board, who will make final hiring decisions. We expect the interviews to take place on a weekend in January.
The committee will also meet the weekend of 3/8/25-3/9/25 to interview candidates for our Assistant Coach and Coach In Training positions.
If you are interested in serving on this committee or learning more, please contact Mia Joelsson at [email protected] to be considered for the committee.
CALLING ALL PARENTS OF 2025 HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS: Graduation Committee
Volunteer Roles Available
Planning for the graduation celebration starts this spring! We need parents of juniors to help coordinate – this is a great way to get involved and get those volunteer hours without a huge commitment. If you love to plan events, please consider volunteering your time!
Please reach out to Mimi Pham at [email protected] if you are interested in any of these opportunities!
BANQUET COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Our End-of-Season Banquet is one of the most anticipated events of the year, where we come together to celebrate the team’s hard work and accomplishments! We’re looking for parent volunteers to help make this year’s banquet a huge success!
Whether you’re great at organizing, decorating, or just want to be part of the planning process, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and help create an unforgettable evening for the team. Plus, it’s a great way to earn volunteer hours with a manageable time commitment!
WINTER SWIM OPTIONS
We are lucky to have plenty of local options for winter swim, including lessons, non-competitive stroke development clinics and competitive teams. Please see the list below.

GOT SWIM FINS THAT NO LONGER FIT?
If your swimmer’s feet have outgrown their fins, don’t let them gather dust! We’d love to put them to good use at practice. Donate your gently used fins back to the team, and help keep our swimmers kicking strong! You can drop them off on the front porch at 164 Treehaven St.
UPCOMING BOARD MEETING DATES
