Special Committees & Event Coordinators
Graduation Committee - Organizes the graduation ceremony held during half-time at the last home A meet, collect biographical summaries and photos from the parents showcasing the seniors’ experience on the team, prepare the graduate introductions, organize the purchase of graduate robes embroidered with the swimmers’ last names, ensure that the traditional Kingfish crowns are made, and create a laminated poster for each senior (photos and biographical information collected from parents) to display at the meet and for parents to take home. The Graduation Committee/Coordinators will also ensure that seniors have selected a speaker for the banquet.
Banquet Committee - Coordinates the end-of-season banquet, including setting the date and time, selecting the location and back-up location, procuring food and beverages, ordering tables, chairs, tent, AV equipment and screen, fans, and any other items or equipment that may be needed, sending the banquet invitations to team members and collecting fees and RSVPs, assisting with setting the agenda for the event, including graduation speakers, and organizing a rehearsal prior to the event.
Tie Dye Event Coordinators - Coordinates the annual Kingfish t-shirt. tie dye event in June.
Pancake Breakfast Team - Coordinates the annual end of season pancake breakfast, during the last morning practice.
